The mission

Our mission was to deliver dynamic and engaging first-person view (FPV) drone footage for the Ethereum Community Conference (ETHCC) 2024, a three-day event held at Mont des Arts in Brussels. As part of a larger collaboration between Flowmotions.xyz, PoluxProd, and SocialBox, we set out to capture immersive drone shots that would be used in the event's aftermovie and for years to come.

The Approach

The first step was to secure the necessary authorizations to fly drones at Mont des Arts, where strict regulations apply. We planned our shoots for early in the morning to avoid large crowds and minimize disruption to attendees. Prior to each flight, we conducted a risk assessment and scouted the environment to identify potential hazards. We chose lightweight drones under 250g for safe operation, ensuring stability and maneuverability while capturing FPV footage. This planning allowed us to deliver high-quality content while prioritizing safety and compliance throughout the event.

As Simon transitioned into a business development role, he shifted focus to building relationships and expanding OneBonsai's network. A key part of this role involved attending major events and tradeshows, where he represented OneBonsai and connected with industry leaders. These efforts enhanced visibility, provided market insights, keeping OneBonsai competitive in a rapidly evolving industry.

THE OUTCOME

The collaboration at ETHCC 2024 was a fantastic experience, showcasing the power of teamwork in creating diverse content for such a significant event. Flowmotions.xyz was thrilled to contribute our FPV drone footage, capturing the dynamic atmosphere and unique perspectives that only aerial shots can provide.

We are proud to have played a part in this successful endeavor and look forward to future collaborations that continue to push the boundaries.
